Smart thing to do is to build your Authority online and blow them away when you find you online. So you need to convert your online presence into online Authority. Here's how - 1/ Start sharing what you know It's easier than you think. Talk about your wins, failures, lessons learned, advice, and insights. Bonus - tell as stories. 2/ Show ur personal side occasionally It endears you in your community more than you'd imagine. 3/ Help people get results Share online. This's where magic happens. 4/ Write a book This seals the deal. An author has authority in their niche. Magnetic! Do this, you'll never have to look for a job.

A focused, clear, and measurable social media positioning strategy gives you the framework, insight, and design to know where to show up, how to engage, and which results are in line with your goals. One thing I've found helpful is talking consistently about what I do. Following people in the same industry, targeting my audience. Offering solutions. As a language teacher, I have received clients from abroad because they listened tmt podcast somewhere or they read about me somewhere. So, I tell people to continue giving value. What you give comes back to you. Value value value.

Clean up, clean up, clean up! I can't stress this well enough. Work on your online presence. Do a thorough clean up of your Facebook, X and especially, LinkedIn profiles. Add a portfolio or website. Take away items that shouldn't be there. Ask for expert help if need be.
