As for books, again, be hyper focused, there is a ton of information out there and not all of it will be relevant to your professional evolution.

To keep up the learning trend I do the following things- 1-As a Business Analyst, I personally prefer to learn from the team which I am a part of. 2-Take advantage of Udemy Courses, these courses comes handy to have basic conceptual knowledge. 3- Pluralsights is also a good option to learn anything you wish to 4-Casual talks with other BAs to understand their Project role. 5-Bridging the gap is also a good channel which I usually prefer The most important thing is to Implement the learnings in my current role.

As a business analyst, I always say this - Do not settle at one role. Keep upskiling yourself as market changes. Some of the easiest ways to do so: - Explore more on what is happening around different business units. - Try to get knowledge of different domains and areas where a business analyst plays a crucial role. - Don’t restrict yourself to your comfort zone. Always ask as many questions as possible. - Engage more in leadership meet-ups to understand how important decisions are being taken. - Networking is again a crucial step. Be a part of a community with similar interests and engage at a regular basis to know the various trends. - Follow the famous BA leaders in the market and explore their blogs, podcasts etc. - Utilise LinkedIn

There are many things that can be learned, and a wide variety of information sources. But there are three things to consider…. 1) What is your goal? Gathering every piece of info you encounter may not get you to your goal. Do you want to improve your data analytics knowledge? Don’t spend time on scrum, UX, personality studies, emotional intelligence…. These all have value but do not get you closer to your goal. 2) Be picky where you get your info. The source may provide quality, completeness, and credibility, and make it that much better in time spent. 3) If you learn but never share your learning with your team and community, you are hurting yourself and robbing them.
