Diversity, which means having different kinds of people in a team, became really important.Companies now know having different perspectives is valuable.Social media also became a big help in finding new team members globally. So, over the last ten years,global talent acquisition leadership became more about using technology, being inclusive, and having smart strategies.

Push forward and pull back. The one constant is change within Global TA Leadership over the last decade. With TA pulling back to in-country or local recruitment, less automation, to more global remote delivery and increased automation. Some of it intentional and planned, with changes in the industry and technology, others are reactionary based on industry or audience judgements. Generally, the acceptance of more remote delivery, and the balancing of tech automation and people continues to play out. Policy and direction changes with focus and priorities is a challenge Global TA must continue to wrestle with. Direction from HR/People/Executive Leadership/Regulation will continue to throw curveballs and cause iteration with plans.
