I would do just the opposite. I would follow a simple 4 step process. 1. Empathize: “Sounds like you have some concerns that are important to you.” 2. Double Click: “Tell me more about those concerns.” (Keep empathizing and double clicking until their most heartfelt need emerges) 3. Reframe: “Sounds like are excited about the goal of the project, and you’re feeling like we need to figure out how to make X is being addressed. Is that correct?” 4. Offer or Invite a Solution: “I have some thoughts on how to address X but ai would love to hear your ideas.”
