For example, Decision Tree(Random forests, boosted models, too) can be easily relatable as these are very common and human thinking oriented decision making paradigm. One can use relatable examples to show how a particular algorithm works. In general it is better not to go into implementation specifics but if done, needs to be done in a understandable way.

The data team should have regular checkpoints where they are confirming the work they are doing by explaining to the manager, their team members on other projects, etc., while adhering to privacy requirements. Additionally, it is best to avoid fancy words in reports and graphs, because the idea is not to deliver our prowess in English, but rather the crux of the data.

There needs to be a cause and effect analysis to analyze what contributed to success/failure and this learning can help adoption of ML more smoother in future.
