Manufacturing is an interdisciplinary task and used synonymously for various items including, production, assembly and packing. First and foremost, identify the goals of next stage of your manufacturing. To reach that goal, do you need new tech? If yes, that’s when you go after the new tech. You simply shouldn’t be integrating new tech because it’s available. Once a tech is chosen, define clearly the outcomes you expect on a three phase timeline. One; integrate and your initial productivity goes down due to operators errors, two, normalization and three thriving. Make sure to monitor the deployment of new tech and if teams are using it as intended and how can you optimize to meet your goals.
