What do you do if your boss in the Mobile Applications industry is constantly criticizing your work?

If your boss is critical of your work, first take a deep breath and try not to take it personally. It's easy to jump to conclusions that align with your feelings rather than the reality. Listen to the feedback objectively, break down the issues mentioned, and assess the feedback. Determine what changes are needed, whether you have the necessary resources, and if your responsibilities are clear. Create a plan to address the issues. Remember, a good boss aims to be fair, objective, and clear in their expectations, though they are human and may falter. Use of the sandwich method is great for giving feedback. Great leaders empower their employees, and with empathy and communication, you and your boss can grow into great leaders together.

First of all stay calm and professional and avoid taking it personally. Actively listen and ask for specific feedback to understand their concerns and reflect on the criticism by identifying areas for improvement, work on enhancing your skills. If the criticism becomes unconstructive or personal, consider discussing the situation with your Boss. Building positive relationships with your boss and colleagues can also help improve the working environment and getting you out of Criticism Zone.

Be Patient. Sometimes it is more important to overcome criticism zone. If you are good at what you are doing, someday it will be beneficial to wait till that day comes.
