Honestly, I feel it is best to hire a consultant. Technology can be your best resource, or just a distracting annoyance. A good consultant can say what solutions are necessary.

When initiating any new curriculum, it's vital to work from the bottom up. What do I want this to achieve? As an example, if you want to teach students how to prove a thesis on an academic paper, you need to set the criteria. 1. At the end, you must have proven your point using research. 2. You must have multiple sources from which you have drawn information. 3. Your paper must be cohesive and NOT plagiarized or written by AI. You need to design the program where there are checkpoints before they can move on. 1. State your thesis in a clear manner. 2. Integrate lesson to teach students HOW to research. 3. Basic outline with lists of resources 4. First draft of paper 5. Revisions 6. Final draft This can all be done in Google Classroom

By analyzing previous assignments and their results, you can find the pain points and decide whether a technological solution is the best path. Using a SWOT analysis can give you a better feel for the efficacy of the solution. Use teacher forums to compare technical vs. standard pedagogy. Ask them to collaborate on a SWOT analysis with you so you can compare the two. Finally, collect and compare technologies that already exist and use a rubric to judge how well they could fit your particular needs.

One thing I loved about Google Classroom was the ability to see what the students were doing. I could monitor their progress, give hints if they were heading in the wrong direction, or intervene with individual sessions. Once a week, we had a group feedback session where students could discuss triumphs and tribulations but also help each other, which created an amazing team dynamic.
