I would carry out a brief understudy of the situation to know the cause of the resistance - Dialogue with the other members of the team. Do a root cause analysis, put in place a corrective action to address that root cause. Apply a new approach - Communicate the value of the new approach with the team and get their buy-in for better implementation. Also build alliance with the team, create accountability partners to ensure we achieve the set goal. Offer assurance and be open-minded while being persistent with the achievement of the set objectives.

Understand why by going deep down the line until I reach what they called GP, the groundworkers! Believe it or not, they're the ones who bear it all. And, without them, a company cannot thrive. But yet, they're the most underrated and undervalued ones. I would start there by interviewing every single one of them. Than, I will find my why somewhere in there. Based on that finding I would figure out if the change was good enough to begin with or maybe it needs twicking!
