Cost of certification is a major challenge from an India/Developing country perspective - Most of the certifications are costly and amount to be starts from 300-1k USD Given the salaries of BA's (1-5) years of experience , the cost of certification is not justified unless it is sponsored by the employee. Client would want the certification but getting sponsorship/aid is a difficult task because there is a standard policy for external certifications. Ideally people prefer something non-standardized on budget friendly portals like Udemy etc

My advice for candidates is to do their due dilligence before chosing a certificate because I did notice that many do go with what's tending just to end up discovering later that they did not benefit from it so chose a credential that complements your career path.
