I like to speak more and show less. By this I mean, provide the narrative as word bites (Turnover is currently decreasing, Oct 2023 posted a 18.93% result) and provide further results as you speak. I find this forces attendees to focus on what you are saying and invites them to ask questions. Once you get a question, dashboard's are then shown and explored together. If you start with a dashboard, attendees will be distracted by what they are seeing.

Lastly, colors make a big impact. Push the less important ones to the background by using neutral colors like gray (if you’re using white background), and vibrant colors to show what needs attention. This will help your audience focus their eyes on the important aspects.

Every full page dashboard should only be able to answer questions on specific themes (like performance, then drill down to sub components, etc). A common mistake is to attempt to squeeze too much information from various theme into 1 page. Therefore, creating a clutter. When users get confused about the clutter, they will become disengaged leading to non usage.

Supporting chart: Time element showing occupany rate of “free” parking vs reserved parking for management level Conclusion: There’s a big portion of parking spaces reserved for the management level with high rate of non-usage.
