What are some successful examples of video storytelling on social media?

I produce video ads for the real estate industry, mainly walk-through video of homes and agents. Most major social media outlets, YouTube, and Google are my target platforms. Here are my three examples of successful video storytelling based on my experience. First, I've found the most affective videos to be under 1:45. Second, videos showcasing the aspects of a property in an order that someone new to a property might expect, often gain longer view times. Lastly, videos shot in 1080p with a wide, flat lens and composed centered offer great quality and the ability to translate easily across most social platforms or aspect ratio.

Audience first. That’s what TikTok is. Know your audience, what’s the hook, give them something and don’t underestimate them. Ever.

One thing that I know for sure about tiktok , you have to get to the point asap. You should keep your set ups shorter to get to the punchlines faster.

Producing short, snackables are 8-15 second vignettes that can tease a bigger story. They are essentially trailers for your larger productions. Be mindful to just cover the key details, the wavetops, tips of the iceberg. Find a way, if possible, to engage with your audience. Have fun, create, experiment and keep learning from the ones that work as well as the ones that don't seem to gain traction.

Activity is entertainment. Capturing the audience should consist of movement, mixed with education in a concise and palatable fashion. If we can contain the issues regarding national security and algorithms driving viewership topics regarding questionable content on TikTok, then we can have a successful tool for truly leveraging the market with a spin on education, technology, stem, and other productive forms of content for profitable and beneficial concepts.

He’s using his skills as an MC/rapper/musician to turn these stories into catchy, upbeat raps which work really well. Clever because he’s reinventing something that parents know all too well and wrapping them up into clever, well known music tracks, beats and drops. Spans age ranges as children love the ‘hip, cool, groove, beat’ of it whilst knowing the words off by heart already. Plus put to well know tracks that parents would have grown up with, making it relatable on multiple levels. Storytelling is best served when it connects with people and stays memorable, doesn’t have to be beginning, middle, end. Find new ways to connect.

When compared to other platforms the analytics contained in YouTube Studio are excellent. The best storytellers that I’ve come across recently on YouTube include Dodford, Life of Riza, and Van Neistat, and Dan Mace. There are so many more I can’t mention here.

Storytelling on YouTube is more informative than most other forms of media. Although it takes longer to go through, you tend to know more about the topic you’re looking for than the other media outlets. There is so much creative opportunity on YouTube and it provides a platform for different creatives.

Youtube is considered to be the second search engine and there is so much you can do on Youtube, which doesn’t seems possible to do on short video platform The future is definitely long form, as they experts mentions this but since we see short form taking over the attention span and also taking over the long form content, we might believe that Youtube Videos won’t work, but that’s not how it should be Infact, the things are simpler than ever, you have AI, tools and tech to solve most of your backend work The only thing a creator, must focus is on the CONTENT Youtube needs patience, interesting stories, scripts to grab the attention and long term consistency

In my opinion youtube is the right platform for storytelling. One thing to keep in mind is to avoid biases and let the audience decide which is which.

The Twitter is known to be short, concise and clever If you’re a video creator, and you think that Twitter is not for you, then that’s not true Twitter Video’s might take time to adapt, people are used to consume written content but I see they are adapting it, and it can be a monitizable thing on Twitter Try to keep it short, attentive and clever enough to help people consume that content you post on Twitter

Twitter's videos, concise and clever, employ humor, irony, or sarcasm to convey messages on news, politics, or culture. Successful videos craft punchlines, twists, or connections using words, symbols, and references, resonating with viewers and aligning with their interests or values.

You got to be yourself and speak your mind on twitter or I better say now X! Although it's not powerful as it used to , but still honestly is the key.

I’ll be the black sheep and say that social media should not be considered an artistic medium. I believe it’s misinformed my generation and the generations that follow, it’s prevented us from finding common ground, and it’s caused a greater rift rather than bringing us closer together.
