What can I say.. sometimes we like to Iterate too much.. and the script turns into something bigger.. and bigger.. and more smelly on each iteration :D Experiments are likely to be repeated, modified, etc.. go for pragmatic designs, frameworks approach. Reuse, template, instantiate.. think big, as big as you dream your model to be. The Jupy's are good, till the thing gets bigger, and then is when containerised and a more robust fly-solo approach is the only way.. Make sure that when you celebrate the good results of your new model.. that you have the snap of the code, data, prompts.. everything, because I guess you want to reproduce it again right? :) Recording the experiments and the code is detrimental, even the code of the classes. When I change the architecture of the model there is a lot of back & forth .. trials. There is a moment between coding -> training -> evaluating, and how much we like to iterate. No matter how much you look around online.. it seems to never be what you exactly need.. you'll have to code, but I guarantee you that is worth. I think applying observability fundamentals and instrument the code is key. ZeroMQ works good for realtime, and obviously WanDB & similars.
