Plan ahead. You know you are going to face frequent rankings or market reports - possibly when you least expect it. Keep your decks and demos current and compelling. Develop strong case studies to prove your success - not last minute! Tell your story and brief frequently. Stay on top of company statistics and metrics. And when that important RFI hits your inbox, immediately organize assignments- and in particular be clear about who your review owners are and ride the timeline to ensure that schedules and PTOs aren’t undermining your chances for success. Note: be sure your team is answering the analysts questions precisely, not what they “want” to answer. This can make a significant impact on your final score.

An AR project or any development project (VR/movies/architecture/etc) should have a detailed project plan from the beginning. The making of this plan should involve all key stakeholders and give everyone ample time to review and give feedback. Ending with sign-off from all stakeholders. If designed correctly the project plan will allow you to sit down with the client and visually show them how the changes affect the timeline and budget. It is then up to them if they believe the changes are worth it. Go above and beyond when you can but don't put your team's sanity or project timeline/budget at risk if people didn't take the time to be part of the design process from the start.
