In the designing alliance stage make sure all is clear about confidential information and what is considered sensitive and i always ask my clients if they want me to refrain from tackling any issue that they think is sensitive or they don’t want us to explore, this helps in creating the safe space

Take into consideration that company technology is never 100 % private - as some people have access to systems by design. Clarify with the client what this means for their engagement and how they want to go about this. And certainly, be clear in contracting what confidentiality means in detail, specifically when the engagement is sponsored by the employer. Choosing an independant coach outside organisation as well as face to face coaching with no tech is always an option.
