I work in a fully remote organization and prior to that, I worked in one that was almost fully remote. Through these experiences, I have observed that setting a clear communication plan is the first step towards preventing or resolving miscommunication. How often are we going to be meeting? What tools best serve us? Where do we need to chat instead of calling? Must we always put on our videos? When the aforementioned questions are clearly answered, the Manager can then determine what tool is best. If it's a fast-paced organization with few staff, WhatsApp groups might just do the trick. Microsoft Outlook should be used intermittently for emails, while Teams/Zoom remain vital tools for general meetings.

I work fully remote, sometimes you have do keep the “old and simple” way … CALL 📞 Don’t only have more frequently calls, but VIDEO-CALLS, so you can have face to face moments, fell the energy, fell the mode, fell the engagement…even though you are far from the team, that way you can have a closer connection.

One thing I've found helpful has been to be clear with asking any questions brought up by confusion within remote teams. Through taking a step back and first identifying which specific factors are affecting your collaborative efforts, you can formulate clear questions and concerns for the full team or specific team members to address, which should ultimately bring you to the solutions you're looking for. At my current workplace, a group chat for immediate teams or specific projects has allowed any gaps from forming from the beginning of collaboration and keeps everyone updated on daily progress regardless of our in-person & remote schedules!

Any content sharing platform with a comments section can fit here. Tools that preserve anonymity can help in situations where team members don't feel secure to provide negative feedback.

After having all emotions out and a good understanding of the problem, make all the stakeholder define solutions and compromise to solve the problem. Those solutions can be very simple or more sophisticated depending on the problem that need to be addressed. From a communication style to change, or the regularity of the meetings to increase, etc. Important here for the manager/leader: do not to take over the solution definition process, but make it collaborative and let your team define the solution that is the most appropriate to the problem.

Good digital communication practices are as important as the platforms that are chosen and the use that is given to them. Four mornings a week our team meets virtually to go over our projects board, noting what's done, what's in progress, and what needs to be added. This lets us work as a team to identify roadblocks, to brainstorm, to congratulate eachother on successes. Meeting so often and for short 15-60 minute sprints helps make the meetings just part of the day, removing any formality hangups that can arrive if you're only meeting if it's critical.

Leading a team of four and working a hybrid schedule, we have a group chat to remain in constant communication. Uma coisa que acho bem útil e que tem funcionado com minha equipe, são agendas fixas para revisão de tarefas, para assuntos mais complexos geralmente puxamos agendas extras para eliminar os ruídos e dúvidas. Uma vez escutei que quando você escreve bem um problema, tem boa parte da solução já identificada, então procuramos sempre nessas agendas entender, repassar e escrever bem as oportunidades que recebemos para chegarmos o mais próximo da solução desejada.

Na minha experiência com gaps de comunicação, é necessário montar uma rotina de report diário. A partir da evolução, reduzimos a periodicidade para 2x na semana, posterior a isso, encontros semanais. Assim, o time permanecerá engajado e atento a comunicação.

A mi me resultó usar Asana. Trabajar desde casa puede fácilmente convertirse en un caos sin una estructura adecuada. Para as atividades que executo atualmente, tem funcionado bastante o Kanban disponível do Miro, ali conseguimos concentrar as ultimas atualizações dos projetos e exportar em pdf para outras ferramentas de apresentação ou até mesmo enviar de forma resumida por e-mail. Gosto muito de utilizar o Miro, hoje diria que é a minha principal ferramenta de trabalho.

Usamos Google Drive y compartir pantallas por Zoom y trabajar en contenido juntos. Es esencial poder editar al mismo tiempo y sin problemas.

Ainsi, l'engagement à distance est un bon baromètre de l'incompréhension éventuelle. La question de l'échange individuel informel peut se poser mais à doser dans un contexte d'incompréhension pour ne pas paraître inquisiteur.

In all Organizations there are “early adopters” or “digital adopters”, those people who are naturally curious about new digital tools and understand and use them before others. Generating training sessions for other colleagues with these people as trainers is an idea that will provide double benefits: early adopters will enjoy sharing their knowledge and what they have discovered, and having a colleague as a trainer will create an environment of trust where participants can feel comfortable, lose shame and make all the consultations they deem necessary about the new tools.

Train resources on the topic and software, framework , everything on which it is to be implemented. Video teaching or tutoring sessions can be held. Upto date tracking of work in between solved chaos at a later larger level.

Um exemplo que já vivi foi de uma falta de mapeamento dos perfis e do que era esperado pelos nossos clientes internos, stakeholders, quanto aos nossos eventos internos. Íamos muito pelo que "sempre era feito" e fomos notando alguns comentários insatisfatórios... Na era digital, pensávamos que muitos gostavam mais de Gift Cards, por exemplo, mas as respostas mostraram uma preferência pelos presentes físicos, por acharem ser mais carinhoso que um cartão virtual. Minha dica seria: nunca assuma um perfil sem ao menos escutar os feedbacks e realizar um mapeamento geral.

Feedbacks mensais (no máximo bimestrais) funcionam muito bem como canal de comunicação entre toda a equipe. Mas de nada adianta apenas falar e ouvir. É necessário agir após ter todas as informações.
