Attempting to be constantly available can lead to burnout, impacting both professional and personal well-being. Utilizing tools to communicate availability statuses can help manage expectations and alleviate stress. By prioritizing self-care and effective time management, one can optimize their productivity and effectiveness in the dynamic world of influencer marketing.

Encourage open channels of communication among your team, clients, and influencers. Make it clear when you'll be away due to PTO, or other work obligations. And when you're done for the day, turn off your phone's notifications or quiet it during your personal time.

Managing and scheduling tasks in influencer marketing is crucial, considering the multitude of campaigns, collaborations, and content creation involved. Monitoring ROIs, onboarding creators, and liaising with brands all demand dedicated time and attention. To handle these tasks efficiently, a well-planned calendar ensures priorities are met and deadlines are adhered to, minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.

To-do lists and time blocking work well for me! At the start of the week, I lay out all tasks that should be accomplished. I then allocate time schedules for these tasks in my calendar and set them to "Focus time." For example, Mondays are set for networking with influencers and answering emails. While Tuesdays are set for campaign planning. This reduces context switching and makes me more efficient.

Prioritize and determine what tasks are most important for your influencer marketing efforts each day and prioritize making progress or finishing them first. Delegate or delay less urgent projects. And I find it helpful to batch out related projects when possible. For example, sending influencer email updates all at once instead of jumping between emails and another project.

Take regular pauses throughout the day to prevent burnout. Get up and move around your home or office. When it's warm out, I try to go for a 10 minute walk outside every day. And don't just rest until the next workday. Set aside time for the hobbies and activities you enjoy. This is the other half of a good work-life balance.
