🗳️ Voting Matters - Send in Your Mail-in Ballots! Voting might not be a "solution" to all our challenges, but it remains one of the essential duties in a democracy like ours. As we approach election season, I encourage everyone who’s voting by mail to remember to send in your ballots on time. 📨 Beyond the high-profile races, this fall's ballot includes many crucial propositions and local measures. These decisions, while indirect, can significantly impact daily life for Californians, shaping policies that affect education, housing, healthcare, and more. Every vote counts. Make yours count too. Let's all do our part to make our voices heard!

🌟 Strengthening School Culture Together! 🌟 This past Saturday, Inner City Visions, in collaboration with two high schools at the Diego Rivera Learning Center, PACS and CATS, embarked on an important project by partnering with the Los Angeles Institute for Right Brain Practices and Research (LARBI) to train school staff, ICV Case Managers, and Community Intervention Workers. Together, we’re building comprehensive school culture that allows staff and case maanagers to work closely to fill in the gaps and communicate about the best practices and ways to help students who need it most This collaboration strengthens behavior support systems, embraces restorative interventions, and promotes equity and safety across our schools. A special thanks to Carlos Alvarez, President/Founder of LARBI, and his team for facilitating this impactful training. The skills learned will enhance our ability to support students facing challenges at school, home, and beyond. Poder Consulting Group is proud to have contributed to bringing this much-needed training to the DRLC community through the School Safety Transformation Initiative, with the invaluable support of the California Community Foundation and the Office of Violence Prevention. #SchoolCulture #Education #CommunitySupport #PoderConsulting #InnerCityVisions #LARBI #EquityInEducation #RestorativeJustice
