⚠️ Whoops, something went wrong ⚠️ 👉 A phrase that is dreaded by memecoin traders everywhere. The rise in tokens using custom features like buy/sell taxes has caused new problems for traders and devs alike. So we’ve created a solution: Buy/Sell Tax Support 👇  Why do these tokens cause difficulties for devs? Custom properties like buy/sell taxes make it hard for onchain apps to estimate price/quantity of a trade This can lead to inaccurate quotes, higher error rates, and more failed transactions Historically, there have been two workarounds: 🛡️ Manually check external services to verify the token is safe to swap 🛡️ Adjust slippage manually (risk of sandwich attack) Problem with external services: 1️⃣ Data isn't always able to capture the underlying smart contract rules 2️⃣ Not every buy/sell tax is a flat % fee applied uniformly to every transaction 3️⃣ Variance with time, across wallets, trade direction, liq source, and volume Turns out the only way to do this right every time is to simulate each trade and adjust the quote in real-time.
