AI Killed Old-School Marketing. Are You Ready for What’s Next? The very idea of a ‘company’ - how it is built, who/what works there, how it is constructed - is going to radically change in the next 10 years. With that, so will marketing and how we think about the role it plays in the enterprise. Because AI is having such an immediate impact on marketing today, our guess is that marketing will be at the front line of this change. We say, get ahead of it today. If your org is still building slow, full-time marketing teams to handle it, you might already be behind. Marketing today isn’t about headcount; it’s about impact. It comes down to three things: • A compelling brand expression—your company’s best self, creatively and consistently presented.    • A smart channel strategy—showing up where your audience is, not just where it’s convenient.   • A full-funnel reporting system—reliable data that connects marketing to revenue, not just vanity metrics. You don’t need a costly, full time marketing department—you simply need a team of good executors to execute who can get strategic when the moment demands (product-market fit issues, growth to new verticals or geographies, something not working). We believe in the value of marketing. To inspire. Drive growth. Guide company strategy. And communicate effectively. How is your company adapting? Share your thoughts below. Or, reach out to me personally. Happy to chat.

This Thanksgiving week, we are thankful for: 1️⃣ Clients who trust the process. 2️⃣ Campaigns that go viral (on purpose). 3️⃣ Brainstorm sessions with just the right amount of chaos. 4️⃣ That no one suggested using papyrus font this year. Happy Thanksgiving from the team at 100 YARDS! We hope everyone enjoys the holiday weekend.

I honestly think I have the best home page ever on my phone. Like literally - it's beauitful. The layout/configuration/organization optimized for my life and everything in it. I mean it avoids the dumb shit - like folders (extra clicks to get where you want to get), color sameness where all the apps are the same color which makes no sense (it's like people who organize their books by color - not enough function for me) or blended backgrounds where nothing pops. Let me tell you why this homepage is amazing. 1. These are mission critical apps right there. Nothing more, nothing less. Account for my guess 90% of all my phone usage. And boom - high-intent search - for all the rest. 2. Like apps next to like apps. 3. Snap is there because I snap with my daughters - good bonding. 4. I want to cancel the NYTimes because fuck them but I am trying to be open. 5. Bye bye Safari because you are a rabbit hole time suck machine. 6. I play golf and ski and therefore StormRadar is very important. 7. The NFL Football apps are all in a row (and go away after the season - less is more!) 8. Maps is so critical - the GOAT of apps. It deserves proper respect. 9. The Free Press just says something about me (this is not an endorsement) 10. The fact that I don't have 5,376 messages says I am a normal person. 11. I should have ChatGPT - I'll get it. 12. And I am with Jack Dorsey and hence no social media apps - I am my own algorithm goddammit Elon! There you go. It's amazing. I love it. Have a great day!
