We are thrilled to see the #RISchoolRecyclingProject in action at Stephen Olney Elementary, where students can now sort their #foodwaste into compost bins instead of sending it to the landfill! 🌱 This project, supported by our grant program, is implemented in 15 schools across #RhodeIsland and hopes to expand to 40 schools by the end of this school year. We believe they can achieve it 💚 #CommunityCompost

Our #philanthropy journey began in 2013, when Sail Newport became our first grantee, receiving support to replace their old boat hoist with a greener, vegetable oil-powered one. Since then, we have funded 266 grant projects #fortheocean 🌊 11 years later, that hoist is still “running like a champ,” and we’ve continued to support Sail Newport’s sailing and STEM education programs, giving more people access to sailing and their local waters. We caught up with Sail Newport's Program Director Kim Hapgood to reflect on our shared journey of sailing, sustainability, and community support in #RhodeIsland.

We're dedicating this #InternationalCatDay to the loving memory of Amelia the Tropicat! 🐈 💙 If you've read "Swell: A Sailing Surfer’s Voyage of Awakening" by our ambassador Captain Liz Clark, you know Amelia was her beloved "furst" mate aboard her 40-foot sailboat. In this heartfelt letter, Liz Clark honors Amelia's memory and shares how Tropicat continues to inspire her daily life—including the creation of A Ti'a Matairea, an animal welfare fund in Tahiti, in Amelia's honor. #SwellVoyage
