19days is a B2B SaaS venture studio. We find real problems, validate solutions, and rapidly build scalable businesses.

About us

Our studio works in quarterly cycles to move from problem definition to MVP product launch every 180 days. With our inaugural $10MM fund, we will launch 6+ ventures. 19days was born out of Gitwit, a full-service innovation agency founded over a decade ago by two of the 19days partners. Now, instead of building other companies’ ideas, 19days will activate Gitwit’s team of 50+ researchers, strategists, technologists, and marketers to create its own companies — in essence, becoming not only the engine, but the source.

In a world where it’s increasingly feasible for anyone to build anything, it’s no longer about hitting traditional startup milestones like minimum viable products (MVPs.) It’s about how fast you can iterate to achieve product-market fit. Chances are, if you’re clinging to the MVP launch model, it’s slowing you down. Prototypes, on the other hand, are lightweight, quick builds that give target users something tangible enough to react to, offer insights on, and get excited about. They’re also reasonably likely to get trashed. But with the almost nonexistent barriers to building these days, a disposable, but testable prototype is one of the best ways to quickly vet technical feasibility and user desirability. In the latest article from our venture studio, we share why prototypes are the key to moving your venture faster and farther. Full article linked in the comments. #venture #MVP #prototype #AI

It’s one thing to attract one of the most proven entrepreneurs in the area to lead your new company; it’s another thing to attract two. That’s just what our latest venture, Agentech, has done with Alex Pezold and Robin Roberson, ahead of its launch next month. Agentech is an AI pet claims assistant that helps insurance providers process claims in a matter of minutes, increasing each adjuster’s daily productivity by 4x. Guided by decades of experience, Alex and Robin have big plans for Agentech’s launch-ready technology. We’re feeling energized after our investor dinner last night! We had a blast celebrating our early wins and sharing where we’re headed with GenAI and Insurtech. We’re so grateful for our investors who recognize the strides Agentech is making to develop a faster, more accurate, and more productive claims process. Stay tuned!

In researching for our next venture, we dove deep into the exploding world of voice AI to develop criteria for high-potential conversational AI use cases. Conversational voice AI’s ability to understand complex queries and respond in a more human-like way is now far, far beyond the smart voice systems of Apple's Siri and Amazon's Alexa. However, these technologies are still in their relative infancy. They sometimes stumble, and they can be duped. Given the current state of latency and intelligence, some people might see talking to AI as a bug. Is it too time-consuming to speak out loud? Is this format more faulty than chat? Is it more aggravating to repeat oneself verbally than to type a new prompt? Do we question a conversationalist's intelligence when they speak awkwardly, differently, or without our familiar social cues? These are all valid hesitancies, but there are times when the bug is actually the feature, where it is preferable and better to use AI than to talk to humans. These will be the best first use cases for conversational AI, because there is already a bias towards the technology. Our team went looking for these 'bugs turned uses cases' as opportunities for our next ventures, diving deep into the fundamental elements of conversation and experimenting with scenarios in which voice AI could shine. In doing so, we arrived at a set of criteria for evaluating the potential of different conversational AI use cases. Look out SaaS, the AI Colleague is here. The world is a far different place than when we launched our venture studio in 2021 with the focus of B2B SaaS. Today, you cannot make B2B technology without thinking about and leveraging AI. While many existing SaaS companies are looking for ways to bake AI into their existing products and models to create incremental improvements, the most exciting new companies are using AI to challenge the way work is done. Check out our latest article on opportunities we’re exploring to leverage AI colleagues to create massive productivity and effectiveness gains and free humans up to spend more time on the most valuable and enjoyable parts of their jobs. With new AI tools entering the market each week and many people already experiencing AI fatigue, we're more convinced than ever at 19days that technology itself cannot be our ventures’ differentiators.
