For more than 50 years our teams have been leveraging our carbon management expertise and that continues in our latest agreement with Enterprise Products. “We are excited to reach this milestone and look forward to collaborating with Enterprise to build a CO2 transportation network for our sequestration hub, which is designed to provide a reliable and efficient way for hard-to-abate sectors to address their CO2 emissions,” said Jeff Alvarez, President of 1PointFive, Sequestration. When building climate-impact projects like STRATOS, we need additional, emissions-free power beyond what's available on the grid. Listen to Michael Avery at the Sustainable Aviation Futures conference as he shares his insights on effectively powering a Direct Air Capture facility. This includes forward looking statements: https://lnkd.in/gZ_jJnMt

This is a stratigraphic test well where we gather core samples to analyze the geologic storage reservoir. Deep beneath the surface – more than 1500 meters – these sites can store CO2 captured from industrial facilities or from Direct Air Capture. Just how much carbon dioxide can we store? To restore our climate, we’re going to need a complementary suite of solutions. At the Sustainable Aviation Futures conference, Michael Avery emphasized, "We’re not in competition with SAF (sustainable aviation fuel)," highlighting how carbon removal technologies, like Direct Air Capture, can work together with SAF.
