🚀 We're thrilled to announce that 1.security has successfully secured a pre-seed funding round of $500K from Sunfish Partners for it’s SaaS solution to enhance cybersecurity in Microsoft 365 environments. At 1.security our mission is to make Microsoft 365 environments safer for every user by bringing visibility, clarity and control to the 345 million users of Microsoft 365 who are confronted with the overwhelming access permission landscape which results in data breaches, wasted budgets and complex operations. With the new product we address the challenges in permission management related to OneDrive and SharePoint objects like groups, files, folders, and shared drives, as well as the complexities of managing internal and external collaborators. Our platform extends the capabilities of Microsoft 365 in areas like mitigating permission creep, improving visibility and control over access rights, and introducing revolutionary collaborative tools - all packed into a user-first and easy to use interface. To bring this product to life we partnered with German cybersecurity firm CISOCON GmbH in order to combine their strong expertise and network in the cybersecurity market with our ambition to build outstanding, user-first software. When they started working on their new project in the cybersecurity space we connected them with Christian Matthies and Eric Berger from CISOCON GmbH and it turned out to be a perfect match.
