HEY Carolina Chapter and Cabarrus County members - look at this opportunity to SERVE with the Cabarrus County Schools. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Cabarrus County offers one of the only K-12 STEM Pipelines in the state of North Carolina. Our STEM schools teach using an interdisciplinary, problem-based approach to learning. Students are encouraged to utilize the design cycle, work collaboratively, and think creatively. Teachers use the inquiry model of teaching - they are facilitators who lead a student-centered classroom. Third Annual Speed Interviewing Session at Central Cabarrus High School When: February 14th - we will run interviews all day but you can sign up for just the morning (7:30-10:30) or afternoon shift (11:15-2:15). Lunch will be provided for those interviewing all day. Where: Central Cabarrus' Media Center Who: CCHS STEM & CTE students We'll have 4 stations of 10-12 students that will move through each station where interviewers will have about 3 minutes to ask the same question of their students (5 interviewers with 5 different questions). Once interviews are completed, we'll have a quick share out where interviewers can give advice, highlight great responses, etc. Please email Kristi Parlier for more information.
