Thanks again to the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce for thinking of Andrew Hewitt and our Bottleworks Project to host a walking tour for Roland Grise 7th graders participating in the Career and Leadership Development Academy. Hopefully they gained as much from us as we gained from them. There were some great #adaptivereuse ideas proposed by these future leaders for one our upcoming projects. Stay tuned for us bringing those to life. Also, thanks to Monteith Construction Corp., & Patriot Roofing Company, LLC for cohosting with us.
Yesterday, we had the opportunity to participate in the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce's Career and Leadership Development Academy session focused on real estate, architecture, construction, and engineering. Charlie Roy, Project Executive of our SPOTLIGHT division, guided groups of seventh graders through the Coca-Cola Bottle Works building, one of our adaptive reuse projects. He showcased our past work and walked the students through a tenant space we are currently upfitting, providing them with a firsthand look at the project process from start to finish. Monteith is grateful for the chance to mentor these students and inspire them about future careers in construction. #MonteithConstruction #WeBuildRelationships #WeThrillPartners
