As we approach both the US presidential election and the onslaught of anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ legislation and violence that has been pervasive in American life in recent years, it’s more important than ever for the queer community to take an active role in fighting for trans rights and telling stories around trans equity. The PRIDE Community group is focused on bringing together a panel to discuss these themes and share poignant, relevant and timely stories of impact, progress and hope. We hope that this panel will challenge our audience to consider ways in which they may perpetuate anti-trans sentiment, and have folks re-consider how to create more equity for the trans community as they look to increase representation and continue to positively humanize the community.
In honor of Transgender Awareness Week (11/13 – 19) and Transgender Day of Remembrance (11/20), we are privileged to invite this powerful panel of trailblazers and experts to join us on our annual PRIDE@ADCOLOR panel.
Thank you to our partners:
