It's so amazing how the community can come together and make such an enjoyable event. A huge thank you to all involved to make this event a special day.

Thanks to our partners for making our North Chicago Back to School Fun Fair such a success over the weekend! We made sure everyone in Lake County was ready for the school year with bookbags, school supplies, and fresh haircuts! Huge thanks to our partners Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Rho Tau Ques and A Safe Place for partnering with us on this event and providing everything from school resources and a bouncy house to games and a tasty lunch! We are proud to partner with both of your incredible organizations to make sure that kids in Lake County have everything they need for a successful school year, including a mentor to help them succeed! Big shoutout and thanks are due to Dawn, Kendra, and Kaleb on Team BBBSChi, Kenya Mason for volunteer coordination and BBBSChi Board Member Joachim Simbila for his support! And thanks to Lou Malnati's Pizzeria and Chipotle Mexican Grill for providing gift cards to our matches and volunteers and The Jel Sert Company for keeping us all cool with your freezer pops!!
