AAIN Northeast recently hosted our first collaborative event with U.S. Reinsurance Under 40s Group in New York City. The panel (Charlie Lei, FCAS, MAAA, Heather Fong , Aaisha Hamid, Dr. Leroy D. Nunery II, NACD.DC, Zane S., Andrew Marine, MBA, ARe, AIDA, James Marshall, and Surya Reddy (Suds) discussed "Generational Perspectives: DEI in the (Re)insurance Industry". Jeff Chen, AAIN's Vice President and moderator of the panel, "It was great to see a panel comprised of individuals from varying walks of life come together to share their perspectives on DEI in the industry, which allowed for an engaging conversation with our audience. I look forward to seeing how AAIN shapes educational panels as we continue to partner with affiliated organizations like ReUnder40." The SoCal Chapter of the Asian American Insurance Network (AAIN) had a hauntingly fun time bringing industry folks together for their Halloween-Themed Fall Networking event held on October 9th at the Olympic Golf Zone in Buena Park, CA. From swinging at the virtual golf range to enjoying great conversations over ghoulishly delicious food and drinks, attendees fully embraced the spirit of the season while networking with peers in the insurance and risk management industry. It was an enchanting evening for making new connections and having a frightfully good time! AAIN National Board Members Peter J. What a great way to kick off the Dive In Festival in NYC! Recently, our Board Chair, Peter J. Woo, sat on panel with the United Insurance Network (comprised of Asian American Insurance Network (AAIN), NAAIA - National African American Insurance Association, APIW, Inc., LAAIA - Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies, and Link USA the LGBTQ+ Insurance Network) to kick off the 2024 Dive In Festival.
