We're excited to celebrate BASX's newly completed 36,000 sq-ft weld shop! 🎉 This shop features cutting-edge welding technology and advanced air filtration systems, including an AAON make-up air unit, ensuring exceptional air quality for workers. Not only will this expansion support production capabilities but also the company's ongoing growth!

The fall 2024 #MastersofHVAC class is officially halfway through! In week three, the class focused on refrigeration and got to the explore the diverse testing capabilities of the #NAIC, including a demonstration in the environmental chamber! ☔️ ❄️☀️

The RZ is the largest unit and highest Air Cooled tonnage manufactured by AAON. With capacities ranging from 45 to 261 tons, this unit allows engineers to add option boxes, which in some cases—like this one—can extend the unit's length to over 70 feet. We recently moved this 240-ton RZ into the #ExplorationCenter in Tulsa, OK, allowing guests to see the size and capabilities of this impressive unit firsthand. Inside the #NAIC, we put our units to the test. ☔️ Our environmental chamber allows engineers to run tests under some of the harshest weather conditions our equipment might face, including heavy rainfall. This chamber can simulate rain at up to eight inches per hour! Through this assessment, engineers can check for unit leakage and ensure that no water penetrates the system. This capability is crucial for verifying that products adhere to strict safety standards and to evaluate their performance under extreme conditions.

🎉 We’ve proactively transitioned to R-454B, a low Global Warming Potential refrigerant that aligns with upcoming 2025 regulations. By shipping R-454B equipment now, we're helping our customers stay ahead while reinforcing our commitment to environmental stewardship. 🎉

Three AAON RN units are now fully operational at a South Jersey school, thanks to Scott Wyckoff from Hutchins HVAC Inc and the techs at CM3 Building Solutions! With CM3's support, Scott was able to complete preflight checks and configure head pressure control boards, ensuring the program for a smooth operation.
