Working to attract, retain, and promote women in competition, data and consumer protection through change & connection.

About us

The goals of Women.Connected are to attract, retain, and promote women in competition and consumer protection to increase diversity, inclusion and leadership in their respective practices, increase membership in the Section from this large, underutilized pool, and provide more robust and impactful legal and policy work that only comes from diverse perspectives and experiences. The Women’s Initiative started in 2017-2018, and became a full committee in 2020. In the short time since its inception, Women.Connected has created and sustained: - Quarterly Webinar Series: Prominent women in antitrust are interviewed about their experiences, challenges and learnings related to their career journeys as well as specific topics (using social media for professional advancement; career transition; courageous conversations; etc). Recent webinars have been offered for live attendance as well. - Women’s Convening: In-person program with attendees from around the country. Program offered networking and a speaker on how to promote your personal brand. Held on the eve of Fall Forum, the program served as a boost for that event as well. Our goal is to make this an annual event and to increase scope as allowed, including to recognize a woman each year who has made significant contributions to our mission of attracting, retaining and promoting women in competition and consumer protection. - Ten Things Series: Popular web series allowing members to meet, connect with and interview women in competition.
