A recent investigation has revealed that one of New York's largest personal injury law firms, Subin Associates, is seeking to withdraw from hundreds of cases involving construction site injury claims. The firm, which represented workers claiming injuries on construction sites, is withdrawing from 200-300 cases after allegations surfaced regarding the misuse of a plaintiff's identity in a lawsuit. A Queens resident, Carlos Ramirez-Naranjo, confirmed he was never involved in the lawsuit or injured on the site in question. This news highlights the importance of addressing fraudulent claims and ensuring that injured workers are represented ethically. It’s a reminder of how critical it is to combat fraud in workers' compensation and injury claims, which drives up insurance costs for everyone in the construction industry, ultimately costing taxpayers hundreds of millions a year. https://lnkd.in/gzUjsMbE #ConstructionIndustry #WorkersComp #LegalNews #InsuranceReform #NYCConstruction #FraudPrevention #EthicsInLaw #IndustryWatch

Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the victims, their families, and the brave first responders who answered the call that day. The courage, resilience, and unity shown in the face of such tragedy continue to inspire us all. Let us continue to honor their legacy by working together in unity, compassion, and service to others. #NeverForget

"For years, New York’s Brownfield Cleanup Program has been instrumental in turning these hazardous sites into vibrant, productive properties that contribute to our local economy. However, a recent bill that mandates the payment of prevailing wages for Brownfield Cleanup projects threatens to halt this progress, and Governor Hochul must veto it."
