About us
We help merit shop contractors find work, do work and be successful. This week's featured Project of Distinction is the Pheasant Branch Creek, Corridor Reconstruction Trail And Bridges by Janke General Contractors, Inc. Imagine a thrilling project featuring a grand 12-foot-wide multi-use path adorned with not just one, but six magnificent bridges that dared to rise in the face of harsh winter conditions. Janke embraced the frigid months with unwavering determination to meet the multi-phase deadlines without incident. The site, a trail that faced devastation from a record-breaking flood, leaving rugged terrain and challenging access, became the canvas for a masterpiece in the making. In an epic display of ingenuity and teamwork, Janke embarked on a journey of rehabilitation to restore the existing bridges and path. This endeavor called for intensive research and dynamic collaboration, culminating in the revival of these structures to meet the latest code requirements. Their commitment to this project extended beyond the bridges. They orchestrated a symphony of construction techniques, artfully designed to minimize side-slope erosion, elevate drainage systems to their pinnacle, and stand as guardians of the corridor’s natural treasures. This narrative transcends mere construction; it encapsulates an inspiring journey marked by resilience, ingenuity, and a vision for ultimate success. Janke took immense pride in navigating this challenging path, creating a legacy poised to endure for generations to come. https://lnkd.in/gej4TgQe

Each profile explores how these leaders are growing companies and creating jobs in technology, construction, plumbing and sports – all industries historically dominated by men – while leaving their mark on the broader community.
