A few weeks ago, our drivers and staff operated a shuttle service at the US Open in Pinehurst, North Carolina for the United States Golf Association (USGA). Fortunately, our vast experience operating event shuttles provides a blueprint for success at major golf tournaments and beyond. Also, we've added to our event capabilities by hiring an event sales/operations staff person to identify opportunities plus oversee pre-event planning, on-site requirements and post-event reconciliation. This added attention to detail provided us with the opportunity in Pinehurst as well as many events beyond our Boston to Miami service area. We know the way!

Excited to start our latest contract service in Boston operating EZRIDE routes for the Charles River Transportation Management Association. We are equally thrilled to debut new transit style buses for the service along with a return to an eight bus operation for customers. These new buses and more robust service will provide riders with more reliability, departure frequency and better options during traffic and weather issues. We know the way!

Thanks to our drivers and staff who wrapped up a successful couple weeks operating a shuttle on Long Island, New York for the ICC Cricket World Cup. In Florida, our drivers are also moving teams at the tournament site in Lauderhill. Shoutout to Onward and Transportation Management Services (TMS) for contracting us. We know the way!

Orlando-based Sales Manager Bridgette Porto-Venturelli represented the company at the recent U.S. Travel IPW trade show in Los Angeles. IPW is the leading inbound travel trade show connecting U.S. travel exhibitors with travel buyers and media. The event this year was well attended and a success. We appreciate Visit Orlando for including us in their booth space. Looking forward to next year.

Thrilled to complete our third Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix this past weekend. We are grateful for our long-standing relationship with the Hard Rock Stadium and their continued trust in our staff, service and equipment. This event was another example of the diverse services we can provide in Florida and the entire East Coast. We are more than just a bus company. Thank you to our staff and drivers who made the event a success. Until next year...

Thank you to the American Bus Association for the invite to this important event. Glad to offer some insight into the motorcoach industry and our company. We know the way!
The U.S. Department of Transportation's 2024 Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day was a resounding success, offering a day of learning and bonding for families while highlighting the myriad career paths in transportation. Held on April 25th, the event aimed to inspire youngsters and educate them about the diverse opportunities in the sector. Children engaged in hands-on activities and demonstrations, exploring transportation systems and safety measures. They enjoyed experiences with vehicles provided by Academy Bus, the American Trucking Association, and the Washington, DC Metropolitan Police Department. Virtual tours of airports, interactive safety exhibits, a LEGO build-a-car speed track, drone flights, and more added excitement. Parents shared professional insights, strengthening family ties and sparking interest in potential careers. This event served as a platform for inspiration and empowerment, shaping the aspirations of future transportation leaders. The ABA thanks the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for the invitation and Academy Bus's Dave Bolen, David McCummings, and driver Carlos Jordan for participating and providing their newest bus for display. #buses #outreach #drivers #operators #motorcoach

Earth Day is a time for our industry to recognize the positive impact bus and motorcoach transportation has on the environment. In general terms buses take numerous cars off the road thus decreasing carbon emissions. Studies show that buses average more than 200 passenger miles per gallon of fuel. Simply put if you choose bus transportation for your commute, group trip or inter-city travel you're helping the environment. Something to keep in mind when planning your next vacation, weekend getaway or daily routine. Check out more information about buses and the environment here >> https://lnkd.in/eVFS3mPs
