Such a great event!
Last week, over 2,000 8th graders rolled up their sleeves and got their first taste of what it takes to be a builder at the FORGE Your Path Career Expo—and they didn’t hold back! 🚧 For two days, these students swapped desks for drill bits and screens for simulators, diving headfirst into everything from VR headsets to mini-excavators, laying brick, hammering, and more. We saw future tradespeople operating like pros, getting a feel for tools, techniques, and maybe a few sore arms! It’s safe to say we may have some new recruits in the making! 😉 In partnership with Starkville, FORGE helped show the next generation what building Mississippi really looks like - and gave them hands-on experience they won’t forget. Build Mississippi is proud to be a part of this event each year. Here’s to future job sites, fresh talent, and hard hats full of big dreams. 🛠️💪 #FORGEYourPath #BuildMississippi #FutureBuilders #NextGenConstruction
