We are pleased to announce the launch of a line extension to the LineSider Spinal System: Reduction Tulips for the LineSider Modular Screws. Reduction Tulips/Screws have an extended tab (+18mm) and are designed to reduce the rod into the saddle of the screw. This may eliminate the need to use rod reduction instruments and may also assist with realigning the spine, such as may be seen in a spondylisthesis case. Please refer to the LineSider Spinal System Surgical Technique Manual (STM-00005) at https://lnkd.in/ebbr4V8X for more details and for instructions for use. #LineSider #ModularScrews #ReductionTulips #Spine

This case study showcases how Dr. Dmitri Sofianos utilized the Accelus LineSider® Spinal System to treat a 70-year-old patient suffering from severe back and leg pain caused by lumbar spondylolisthesis and spinal stenosis. After months of unsuccessful conservative treatments, the patient underwent a minimally invasive posterior lumbar decompression, followed by instrumented fusion using LineSider modular screws and stereotactic guidance. The outcome? Immediate relief, with her pain score dropping from 7/10 to 0/10 and dramatic improvement in her strength and mobility. The LineSider® Spinal System offers a modular cortical screw system designed for a midline approach, which may be beneficial for elderly patients with osteoporosis. Studies have shown that screws placed in this manner can have superior pullout strength and mechanical stability compared to typical convergent placement (1). The LineSider dual-to-quad lead shanks are designed for increased purchase in the transitory cortical-cancellous bone of the midline trajectory. The modular tulip heads feature a slim profile and low height to facilitate a midline approach. To learn more, visit: https://lnkd.in/enZ7jFqC #LineSider #Modular #SpineSurgery #MidlineApproach 1.
