Featured Friday: Meet Ashley Woodous! Each month, we are highlighting the amazing work our main office staff does. Ashley Woodous is in her 18th year at ACCESS and is our Program Administrator. Let's get to know her a little more: 1. What are your job duties? As the Program Administrator, I help oversee the direct services for the program department. I assist with pulling data for grants, monthly metrics, and I assist the Clerk of the Board with various tasks for monthly board meetings. 2. How would you describe yourself? Resilient, Open-minded, Trustworthy 3. What's your favorite thing about working for ACCESS? It’s the mission for me! It is awesome that every day I can work for an organization that has ability to change lives! By equipping parents and students with valuable information, the trajectory of those students and families are changed. 4. What's your advice to college students? Make sure that you enjoy the time in college. It goes by so fast. Don’t compare yourself to others and understand that you're unique in your own way. Our ACCESS College and Career Success team has been on the move! 🚗💨 Our dedicated College and Career Success Advisors have been traveling across Virginia, visiting 14 different college campuses to meet with our ACCESS Scholars in person. For those Scholars not at one of these campuses, we’re staying connected virtually to provide the same guidance and support. No matter where our Scholars are, we’re here to help them thrive on their path to graduation and career success!
