According to the American Land Title Association (ALTA), seller impersonation fraud is a growing concern in the real estate industry. In 2023, 28% of title insurance companies experienced at least one seller impersonation fraud attempt, and in April 2024 alone, two in 10 title companies experienced such attempts. According to a recent article in the Ticker, commercial real estate sales in our area are coming back strong. In the first half of 2024, total sales volume in Grand Traverse County is up 30% year-over-year. Total listings sold are up 26%. We had such a great time at the Northwest Michigan Fair last week. We registered to buy livestock, through the Grand Traverse County 4-H , which does so much to support local farming families. Watching the kids work with the animals, especially the grand champion steers, was amazing. #AskForAccess
