About us
ACE | Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs is a nonprofit community lender whose mission is to provide economic development to underserved people and communities, including low-income, minority and women borrowers. ACE is a non-profit organization that provides loans and business development resources to help its borrowers create and grow sustainable businesses which generate jobs. Since 2000, ACE has provided more than $200 million in loans to over 2,600 businesses, saving or creating more than 21,000 jobs in Georgia. For small companies in a vulnerable stage of growth, an ACE loan can mean the difference between success and failure, and for larger companies, our assistance can enhance competitiveness and sustainability. ACE has emerged as a leader in responsive and innovative small business financing in Georgia. This leadership was recognized with a 2010 OFN Wells Fargo NEXT Award for innovation. In 2011, ACE was accepted into the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses CDFI Growth Collaborative, a collaborative working-group of 21 CDFIs from around the country who focus on expanding small business lending capacity and CNN Money recognized ACE as one of the country’s top 10 microfinance organizations. In 2014, ACE was named by the Georgia office of the U.S. Small Business Administration as the Financial Services Champion of the Year, and Grace Fricks, ACE President and CEO was named as one of the 100 Most Influential Georgians by Georgia Trend Magazine. Our personalized underwriting, flexible terms and ongoing business advisory assistance give your business the support and capital it needs to grow and thrive. Beyond the financial bottom line, we also offer “green” programs to help you become sustainable, operate efficiently and tap into new market opportunities. We’re proud to announce that GrapeVine’s Italian Restaurant, one of ACE’s longtime clients, has been featured in an article by the Opportunity Finance Network (OFN)! 🎉 Located in the beautiful town of Dahlonega, GA, GrapeVine’s is a shining example of how Hispanic-owned businesses are not only surviving but thriving with the right support. Matias Ruiz and Alfonso Virriel, the restaurant’s chef and manager turned owners, faced challenges securing traditional funding, especially during the pandemic. Thanks to ACE’s tailored financing and business advisory services, they were able to purchase GrapeVine’s and create over 18 jobs in their local community! This story is a powerful reminder of the importance of access to capital and how ACE helps entrepreneurs like Matias and Alfonso build sustainable businesses, create jobs, and strengthen local economies. A huge thank you to OFN for highlighting this success and to our amazing clients for their resilience and dedication! You can read their feature by clicking this link: https://lnkd.in/dbXUyz4F
