What to do with an old cell and equipment when the project ends? Don't scrap it out, or cannibalize it, maybe "repurposing" makes more sense. On this one: we traveled to the customer's facility, disassembled and prepared the cell for shipment; re-assembled it on our floor; reconfigured the cell; designed, built and integrated four new spot weld fixtures; provided and installed new (larger capacity) spot weld guns; and reprogrammed the PLC, HMIs, and robots.
