We are excited to share the ongoing progress of the 💥IL 7 project in Orland Park, IL.💥 This 1.22-mile initiative, which covers 131st to 135th Street, is focused on comprehensive roadway and surrounding infrastructure improvements. AGI is providing construction inspection and surveying services. Our team has successfully advanced on several key fronts, including: -Drainage Improvements & Culvert Replacement: A major focus right now is demobilizing the box culvert drainage improvements and replacing aging culverts with new, more efficient systems. Installing new culverts with Timber piling foundations is a critical step toward enhancing water management and significantly reducing the risk of flooding in the area. -Traffic Signal Modernization: Modern traffic signals are being installed to ensure smoother traffic flow and increased safety for all commuters. -Ditch Cleaning: Clearing and maintaining roadside ditches to enhance drainage and preserve the integrity of the infrastructure. -Water Detention: Additionally, a massive water detention system is being constructed. This crucial infrastructure will play a significant role in managing stormwater, further protecting the roadway and surrounding areas from potential water damage, and ensuring long-term resilience As we continue making strides, we remain committed to delivering a high-quality, efficient, and safe roadway for the community of Orland Park. 💥I-80 PROJECT: 62R28 CONTRACT: RIVER ROAD TO HOUBOLT ROAD💥 Accurate Group, Inc. is a subconsultant to AECOM on the Reconstruction of I-80 from River Road to Houbolt Road Phase III project. We are providing Material Coordination and Surveying services for the contract. The project consists of reconstruction of the existing I-80 mainline pavement from east of river road to west of Houbolt road exit, partial construction of the entrances and the exit ramps at the I-80 and I-55 Interchange and the west frontage road. The work includes the reconstruction and widening of the bridges over I-55, EB/WB I-80 bridges over DuPage River, EB/WB bridges over Frontage Road, EB/WB bridges over Rock Run Creek, EB/WB I-80 bridges over future ramp AA. Additional work includes drainage system improvements, signing, lighting, noise walls. The project is currently under construction and tree removal, stripping of the topsoil, earth work and embankment is complete. Busse Woods was the venue for Accurate Group, Inc's 30th anniversary celebration, which was enjoyed in beautiful weather with a delightful picnic surrounded by friends, family, and alumni.
