If so, you can become a paid consultant to the county’s Homeless Advisory Board in helping to create a new plan to address homelessness. After months of planning and effort, the Accessibility Scavenger Hunt is up and running in the Allegheny County Department of Human Services building! I’m so proud to have brought this project to life, and I’m excited to see staff members engage with each stop on the hunt. The scavenger hunt highlights accessibility features already in place and encourages everyone to think about ways we can continue creating an inclusive environment. After 10 months of collaboration with over 40 stakeholder organizations, we’re charting a vibrant future for downtown Pittsburgh. We were thrilled to join County Executive Innamorato and leaders from federal, state, and local government as well as leaders from the corporate, philanthropic, and nonprofit community in releasing a collective Downtown Revitalization Vision Plan and celebrating historical investments announced today for Downtown Pittsburgh. 10 Year Plan: https://lnkd.in/eh2WGRAC Housing development, Mainstreet revitalization, supporting entrepreneurship and businesses small and large, and investing in our infrastructure, public realm, and civic spaces are all key community development efforts that ACED engages in throughout 130 municipalities across Allegheny County and we are proud to be a partner in all of that in Downtown Pittsburgh. Thank you to all of the partners at Second Avenue Commons,Mercy,City of Pittsburgh and of course our Allegheny County Department of Human Services who have worked so hard to rebuild and reopen this critical facility following the devastating fire in June.
