Our Ace family in South Georgia recently faced their third hurricane in 13 months. Helene left her mark in our community, and it’s been the most difficult recovery yet, but even in the hardest moments, our local heroes give us hope. Our Ace Electric team wants to send a huge THANK YOU to the many Linemen, First responders, Volunteers, Nurses and Doctors who had little sleep and worked hard in these hot temperatures! #HurricaneHelene #Huricane #Linemen #Volunteers #NaturalDisaster #Heroes #Electrician #Construction #Valdosta

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧 "𝐀𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲" 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥. The Ace team gave a presentation and then moved to a demonstration on pipe bending, cable splicing, wearing safety equipment, and installing wire. Thanks to Statesboro Superintendents, Matt and Ronnie, for helping and teaching these students the basics and Jada, Division Admin, for helping coordinate. We also want to thank Jeremy, HR Talent Acquisition Specialist, for giving a great presentation. The construction industry’s future is facing a generational deficit of experienced workers retiring within the next few years without enough younger generations entering the field to replace them. This equally concerns specialty contractors facing the same recruitment challenges, as “employment of Electricians is projected to grow six percent from 2022 to 2032, faster than the average occupations.” We are grateful that our team is combatting this shortage with outreach that gets students excited about our trade! #Electrician #ElectricianLife #Construction #AceElectric #AceOne #WorkFamily #WorkbasedLearning #Education #TradeSchools #TechnicalCollege #Trades #ElectricalTrade

Our Ace Family would like to wish Tennessee Division’s softball team in Plain City, Ohio, a great season! The team name is Ace Electric, and their jerseys were ordered by Superintendent, Brandon Oliver, who placed a picture emblem on the left sleeve honoring their brother Gilberto Jose Silva Ramariz (who passed away last year). 𝑨𝒕 𝑨𝒄𝒆, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒂𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒓 #𝟏 𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆! We want to give a huge shoutout to our Safety Professionals taking time to update and learn the latest practices to share with their teams. Recently, some safety team members made the trip to Valdosta and learned important tips on mobile elevated work platforms. Examples of this equipment include aerial lifts, scissor lifts, single personnel lifts, and bucket trucks. This training is essential for our electricians in the field working on large construction projects. Special thanks to Ace University and our partners at Bowen Arrow Safety for providing training and equipment! #Electrician #ElectricianSafety #Construction #ConstructionSafety #Safety #WorkforceDevelopment #AceOne #WorkFamily #AceElectric #Valdosta
