Our Ace Electric Human Resources and Ace University teams came together in Mississippi last week with Faith Technologies to participate in Amazon Web Services' Job Symposium. Our group met with high school career coaches, state department of labor staff, governor's office staff, and technical college staff. It’s not every day that you run into a USA Olympic medalist! On the way home from our Ohio Ace job site, Robert Williams, our safety professional, ran across Joe Kovacs, Silver Medalist for the track and field Shot Put in the 2024 games! Joe lives in this community and was so nice, according to Robert. This project was recently completed and he had the chance to see his wife Whitney, a fourth grade teacher at Clinch, getting ready for the upcoming school year. His daughter, Libby, is also a future student.
