The #ACGME is a proud partner of #NationalLatinxPhysicianDay, working to improve the quality of US LatinX patient care by increasing the number of LatinX physicians who provide culturally and linguistically concordant care. Significant health care barriers and inequalities remain for the Latino/Hispanic population, partly due to only 6% of physicians being Latino or Latina despite the US population being 19%.
