Aircraft carriers are much more than ships; they’re symbols of innovation, economic impact, and strength. They’re state of the art assets, loaded with cutting-edge technologies like electromagnetic catapults, advanced weapons elevators, nuclear reactors, SPY-6 radar, and so much more. They’re the result of the hard work and know-how of over 2,000 businesses across the U.S. that provide parts and services that end up on board. They’re indispensable tools on the international stage that prove time and again how impactful they are for national security. Behind every carrier lies a powerful industrial base – thousands of companies and workers who contribute essential parts and expertise. Together, they drive innovation, create jobs, and fuel local economies across the country. We welcome you to share your company’s story below and join us in supporting the mission of America’s aircraft carriers and the dedicated industrial base that keeps them sailing strong! Discover more at ACIBC.org and stay informed on the impact of our nation’s carrier fleet this #AircraftCarrierMonth.

High Reliability Group LLC is now providing supplier quality services to the Submarine and Aircraft Carrier Industrial Base. This week, HRG Senior Advisor Kevin Mooney (pictured here with MMA Chairman John Rhatigan PE), spoke at the Marine Machinery Association and American Shipbuilding Suppliers Association October Meeting at Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) in Danville, VA. Kevin discussed the supplier quality environment at Electric Boat and Newport News Shipyards and offered a range of services to help suppliers prepare for audits and upgrade their Quality Management Systems. HRG has an impressive lineup of Navy Nuclear trained consultants, who would love to help bolster the shipbuilding supplier base during this period of rapid growth. Are you due for a supplier audit from Electric Boat and Newport News Shipyard? Please contact Kevin Mooney or Tim Doelger if interested. We are here to help!
