ACIST dPR is now available in the US! This algorithm provides a non-hyperemic alternative for evaluating coronary artery stenosis by measuring the ratio of Pd to Pa at the peak-to-peak midpoint, averaged over five consecutive heartbeats, without relying on an ECG signal for the calculation. Integrating this tool into your measurement suite could enhance workflow efficiency during physiological assessments. Want more information on this new upgrade to the RXi System? "I am going into my third year at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities where I am studying Computer Science in the honors program. I’ve had an interest in the medical technology field, and the opportunity to work at Bracco Medical Technologies lined up perfectly. This summer, I got to work on a product development project where I completed framework for automated software integration testing and an ADAM service application. My favorite part of the internship was applying my knowledge of software engineering into a real product that has the opportunity to transform many lives. I was able to meet many great people on my team and within the company!"

Another guideline update from the ESC after last weekend’s annual congress, this one regarding functional assessment during intracoronary angiography. ESC has has upgraded FFR/iFR to a IA clinical recommendation, and Pd/Pa/dPR as a IIB alternative. The new guidelines describe a stepwise approach for chronic coronary syndrome. https://buff.ly/3MB0XN8 Using our RXi® System and Navvus® II MicroCatheter with the ACIST dPR upgrade, you have the option to implement both approaches mentioned above, all with your 0.014” guidewire of choice. https://buff.ly/4dQGhwn

“I am a senior at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities studying Management Information Systems and Supply Chain and Operations Management. I have been actively engaged on campus, assuming various leadership roles within student organizations and in student employment. I was particularly drawn to the opportunity to work with the program management team and contribute to multiple projects. The medical device industry, known for its rapid growth and continuous innovation, presents an exciting landscape where I can contribute meaningfully while expanding my expertise. Currently, I am working on the expansion of our product EVO to 10 new countries after the completion of Limited Market Release. My favorite part about this experience so far has been the opportunity to collaborate with individuals across various departments, allowing me to gain diverse perspectives. The avenue to spearhead my own initiatives has given me a sense of ownership and has significantly enhanced my problem solving and leadership skills.”
