Meet Dr. Nikki Delk and listen to her story and why she chose to serve as an Ambassador. “I am adding my voice to the American Cancer Society VOICES of Black Women for myself, my family, and my community because as an African American woman I know all too well the disparities that exist.” Dr. Delk, based in Dallas, is a PhD of The University of Texas at Dallas and a recipient of an ACS Extramural Research Grant. Dr. Delk’s work aimed to understand the role of inflammation in breast and prostate cancer progression & treatment resistance.
