As voter registration deadlines are quickly approaching, this week's social media toolkit from "WIN With Black Women' focuses on encouraging folks to get out and vote! The stakes have never been higher, and we need you to help amplify this message and remind people why you are supporting Kamala Harris. Don't have time to knock doors, make phone calls or attend rallies. No problem. BE AN ORGANIZER OF ONE!! As a organizer of one, every week commit to take action with 10 people you know to ensure every one of them votes by helping each one have a vote plan. This November, we can vote to set California on the right track by fixing our state constitution to abolish slavery. While national politicians threaten our freedom to make decisions about our bodies and our families, Proposition 6 will protect our freedoms by fully banning slavery. But not enough people know that Prop 6 is on the ballot. That’s where you come in. Join us virtually on Tuesday, October 15 at 5 p.m. to call voters and tell them about how Prop 6 can help reduce crime, victimization, spending on California prisons, and end slavery in all its forms. The California Constitution already bans involuntary servitude (which is effectively slavery) except as punishment for a crime. Prison slave labor forces incarcerated individuals to work in dead end jobs when they could be learning skills and accessing rehabilitative programming that helps ensure they have the skills needed to succeed on the outside. Call voters on Tuesday, October 15 at 5 p.m. The choice is clear: Vote yes on Proposition 6 to reduce crime, victimization, and spending on California prisons, and end slavery in all its forms. https://rebrand.ly/yr6jgx7
