Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! As a diverse and inclusive organization, the ActOne Group is proud to celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of the Hispanic community and recognize the cultures and traditions that have woven their way into the fabric of our country. Recent years have seen Hispanic workers and entrepreneurs have an outsized positive effect on our economy. Not only has the number of Hispanic workers nearly tripled over the past three decades, but according to the USBLS, nearly 1-in-4 new businesses in the United States are Hispanic-owned. In fact, Hispanic Americans had the highest “rate of new entrepreneurship” every year since 2002. These businesses have shown staying power, too. Studies have shown that though nearly half of all Hispanic American businesses pre-pandemic were less than five years old, they rebounded quicker post-lockdown, showing faster growth than non-Hispanic-owned ones.
